The democratic republic of Mongolia
......journey through the silk route

Arriving by helicopter from Ulambutar, we will be dropped in the Gobi Desert, and drop into reality as we leave the ordinary world, ordinary mind, behind. We will be received by desert nomads.  As the guests of these nomads we will be living for two weeks in a group of traditional yurts.  In the silence of this desert, on this vast sea of Quarts crystal, we will take Kilvat, or retreat, under the kind guidance of Murshida Maitreya, we  will receive the transmission of the Six Precepts of Enlightenment

The eye rests on the unbroken vast horizon. and the nervousness of developed real estate disappears from our system.

deep quiet, the smell of smoke.  a wisp of wind moves the veil.  tassel of the cushion glints in a shaft of light.  your legs sprawl over a drapery of oriental carpet hanging inside your yurt.  peach fuzz, curd, and rosewater.  coffee in the samovar.

Extemporaneous poetry dropping like pearls from the lips of the Beloved.  Her spirit germinates in your heart mind.  ancient techniques which heighten the senses and enliven the mind toward realization will be taught and practiced.  The gateways to internal ecstasy will be thrown open.

walking meditation at sunrise.  a profound generating activity....... buckets of hot water pouring into your tub by the fire.   someone scrubs your back with pungent oil.

you can hear voices whispering, rhythmically whispering.  seed syllables at midnight.  loping gait like a lover, the camel takes you out in the dunes.....horses mane blows stiffly as we ride wildly in the unfenced terrain.  No obstacle.  here...now then dancing.  O, god.  O, Beloved.....
